Being a small-town girl, I grew up with a love for land & all that entails. As a young girl and throughout my life, my grandfather consistently reiterated the significance of having a place that is your own. He could not have been more right. In addition to being a small-town girl, I consider myself a lifelong learner. I have obtained a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees from Texas A&M-Commerce. My name is Cecilia Wichmann. I am a Miami-born entrepreneur and Realtor® who was raised in Sweden and graduated from high school there. After completing my education, I spent a year abroad in Switzerland, studying music, business, and French at Leysin American School. Upon returning to Sweden, I founded my first company in the equestrian industry. In 2008, my family and I took a leap of faith and moved to East Texas, where I continued to pursue my passion for helping people and animals. I have worked as an Animal Control Officer and investigator in law enforcement and have been a National Registered EMT for over five years. While I speak five languages (English, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and French), Spanish is not among them; however, I plan to start learning it by 2025. Last year, alongside my EMS job, I decided to explore something new. Encouraged by a close friend who is a real estate agent, I pursued my Real Estate License.
